Chucky lightweight lug outsoles and heels with capped toes beg the question of what to do at the fork in the road? The answer is “yes” – take either the highway or the fashion runway – both work with these boots. With smooth, rounded, and capped toes, the vamp is clean all the way up to the elevated cuff. YKK® dual locking inside and outside zippers and a pull-on loop mean these boots are easy to pull-on and kick off. Harley-Davidson® metal embellishments include a Bar & Shield® logo on the shaft as well as a leather B & S® button logo pull-tab on the zippers. The heel's counter is reinforced with an additional leather layer from the heel to the pull-on loop. Made with full-grain leather and a full-length mesh lining. On the street side, a Harley® orange logo badge is inserted into the instep.     Comfortable from the first time I put them on. Zippers were a bit sticky: run a soft lead pencil up and down the zippers, zip and unzip, repeat until the zip is smooth. This style was called Starter Switch for many years. Amherst is a little different; lighter weight, mesh lining, sole not as clunky. They do scuff easily. I like that these boots are simple, functional, comfortable and stylish. Highly recommended.
