Reminiscent of the logger style boot, the Wickson has the attributes of many great boots combined into a single style. With serious rugged styling, these classic cord lace-up boots with side zippers are all about function. They are out-of-the box ready for biking, hiking, or walking. The round toe sets things off. The texture has a suede-like finish. A re-enforcing leather strip is riveted and sewn on the side and moves up to the top lace, providing extra security to the logo eyelets. Additional contrasting metal embellishments include the bottom lace Harley-Davidson® logo badge, a metal Bar & Shield® at the ankle, and a logo buckle on the snugging strap at the cuff. An additional re-enforcing layer of leather is on the boot's counter, just above the heel. Notice the contrasting leather layer between the uppers and the sole. Donning and doffing is made easy with YKK® locking inside facing zippers, in addition to a pull-tab which is placed at the top of the shaft. The boots are made with full-grain leather uppers with a full-length mesh lining. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available. Rubber outsoles mean a soft and carefree stride. The bottom of the sole has a debossed H-D® winged skull logo, and the heel has a debossed skull, as well. The outsoles are rated BEST for oil resistance. The instep on the sole has a beautiful contrasting brown leather patch with a debossed Bar & Shield® logo.
