Harley-Davidson's® Functional Extreme Riding Gear® (FXRG®) line of clothing and footwear integrates the latest and best technologies with the best materials the industry has to offer. The result is protection and comfort for all season riding. These FXRG® boots have a smooth round toe. Lacing is accomplished using a combination of eyelets and closed hooks, all blackened for a unique appearance. A blacken metal Harley-Davidson® badge is on the bottom lace. Donning and doffing these boots is made easy with YKK® locking inside zippers with Velcro® closure. YKK® zippers are the best that industry has to offer. Reinforced leather panels strengthen the shaft. Walking is comfortable with cushioned collars at the top of the shaft. Reflective material has been placed on the boots to improve being seen in low light conditions. An embossed Harley-Davidson® Bar & Shield® logo graces the boots' outside facing counter. An embossed contrasting grey FXRG® logo and a grey waterproof fabric badge are also placed on the outside face of the shaft. The boots are made with waterproof full-grain leather. A breathable Hydro-Guard™ waterproof membrane prevents water from entering or passing through the boot, thus keeping your feet dry and road ready. Two-hundred gram 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation is used to keep your feet warm while allowing moisture to escape. ShockAbsorber™ TwinPad™ technology cushions the foot and absorbs the shock of each step. Lightweight, flexible polyurethane is used for the midsole, with rubber on the street side. Outsole performance is rated BEST for slip-resistance. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available. The street side sole has an embedded Harley-Davidson® orange logo, along with orange tread elements. Shaft height: 7-inches, Heel height: 1.5-inches.
