This would be pretty much the perfect boot, good fit, waterproof, easy on/off, reinforced toe for shifting, Vibram sole etc. Could maybe use some zipper vents, but being a waterproof boot I understand why they did not include those. Unfortunately, at least my pair has a manufacturing fopa in the right boot. Right where the lacing portion of the leather is sewn to the toe portion on the right outside, the stitching inside the boot in that spot is very thick, like 3/16" and it digs into the right outside edge of my foot near the base of the pinky toe. It becomes very painful after a couple hundred miles and just gets worse the longer you ride. It didn't bug me too much at first, but on my 3,000 mile ride to Banff in Canada with a couple of 400ish mile days, it became very apparent. It is probably too late to return them now since I've worn them for 3,000 miles. I really wanted to like them too, but damn that right boot hurts like hell after a bit on the bike.
