With a smooth round toe, lacing is accomplished using a combination of traditional Harley® logo eyelets and speed hooks for a fast getaway. A metal Harley-Davidson® badge is on the bottom lace, a metal Bar & Shield® is affixed on the outside of the shaft, and a black “Waterproof” fabric badge is sewn onto an outside seam for quick identification. A textured tongue lies under the laces with a Bar & Shield® logo on smooth leather at the top. Additional reinforcing leather panes support the eyelets and hooks, the heel counter and the shaft. The cuff has a cushioned collar for maximized comfort while walking, standing, or sitting. With YKK® locking inside zippers, the boots are easy to put-on and take-off. The boots are made with waterproof full-grain leather with a breathable waterproof membrane lining – your feet stay warm and dry in all wet conditions. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available. Vibram® rubber outsoles ensure a comfortable, easy and sure footed stride. The outsoles are rated “BEST” for abrasion, slip and oil resistance.
