A heathy respect for Mother Nature is not necessarily instinctive – be prepared for inclement weather with waterproof boots. The boots have beautiful matching chrome colored hardware. With a smooth round toe, the boots have additional wear protection with an extra layer of leather that has been strategic placed to resist wear while shifting gears. Three straps, front, back, and bottom, are secured with logo rivets to a harness style O'Ring. The rear facing strap had a rectangular window which reveals a “waterproof” badge for easy identification, lest you forget which boots in your wardrobe are waterproof. A metal Bar & Shield® logo adorns the side of the shaft, and another metal logo badge is affixed to the outside face of the boot's heel. With YKK® locking inside zippers and pull-on loops, these boots are easy to put-on and kick-off. Walking or standing is made more comfortable with a V-notch in the cuff, allowing more flexibility at the shin. The boots are made with waterproof full-grain leather designed to prevent water from entering or passing through to the feet, thereby keeping them dry. The boot's uppers are also constructed of breathable materials for increased comfort – air can circulate while water is blocked. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available. Simulated leather with rubber street-side outsoles provide a good look and allow for a soft and easy stride. The street side instep has a Bar & Shield® logo.
