Harley-Davidson® Men's Performance Britford Waterproof black leather motorcycle boots, D96141. Designed and styled with a classic military black ops milieu in mind, these boots are all about getting down to business, as in “serious-business.” Starting with a smooth rounded toe, lacing is accomplished with 8 pairs of blackened logo eyelets with a pair of hooks that are set back slightly for a wider snug at the mid-point. A blackened Harley-Davidson® metal logo badge is on the bottom lace. A Water Proof fabric badge is sewn at the bottom of the outside facing lower Cordura® panel. A debossed Harley-Davidson® logo is on the side of the boot along with an embossed Vibram® logo on the side of the sole. The boot's tongue also has a darkened Bar & Shield® logo. A two-snap pocket has been designed into the top of the shaft, facing the outside. The pocket is suitable for a key, or perhaps a folded $100 bill. Donning and doffing these boots has been made easier with YKK® locking inside zippers with Velcro® closures. These boots are waterproof, made with full-grain leather and Cordura® uppers. Cordura®, a fabric that is durable, versatile, and reliable, is constructed using high tenacity fiber technologies - weight for weight Cordura® fabrics are exceptionally durable. Waterproofing is accomplished with HydroGuard™, a waterproof membrane lining which offers breathable protection from the elements, along with 200g 3m™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, which is warm yet light, powerful yet thin. Thinsulate™ Insulation helps trap body heat, while allowing moisture to escape, thus keeping the feet warm and dry even in cold wet conditions. These boots also have a full-length removable dual-density polyurethane footbed for ultimate comfort. Going one step further, these boots have Vibram® rubber outsoles, which are designed to provide optimum traction, comfort and performance – ideal for riding motorcycles – and are rated “Best” for abrasion, slip and oil resistance. A Vibram® contrasting yellow logo is embedded on the street-side instep of the sole.
