There is no question these are “made for” the task, yet they're comfortable and moto chic. The boot's plain rounded toe sweeps up an unadorned vamp a full 12.5-inches. A snugging front cross strap with buckle accompanies a snugging side strap at the top of the shaft. An outside facing gore at the cuff provides total comfort to the calf. A small metal Harley-Davidson® Bar & Shield® badge is positioned at the mid-shaft point. The uppers are made with heat resistant leather. With a pull-on strap and YKK® locking inside zippers with a leather pull-tab, these boots are easy to put on and take off. White contrast stitching adds a bit of depth on the boot's vamp. The boots have a full-length mesh lining. With rubber outsoles, rated best for slip and oil resistance, the boots are comfortable for all day walking or riding. The boots also feature TFL COOL SYSTEMS® technology, which restricts the temperature of black leather when exposed to sun radiation for improved thermal comfort. Translated, that means your feet stay cool even in direct, hot sunshine. The street side sole has a grippy tread design and a bright Harley® orange Bar & Shield is embedded in the instep. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available.
