Harley-Davidson® Men's Embroidered Camo Boonie Cotton Twill Hat, Gray and Black, HD-475 BLK/GRY. The boonie hat was first introduced to the world by the USA during the Vietnam War. The first users were US Army Green Berets, conducting operations alongside Australian and Vietnam units. The word boonie was appropriately abbreviated from military slang, boondocks. The style has had a lasting impact and is a popular form of headwear today. This hat is made from soft, 100% cotton twill. It has a camouflage patterned band and a nice sized 2.5-inch brim. Harley-Davidson® black lettering embroidery and a grey embroidered Willie G skull embellishes the crown. One size fits most men. Manufacturer Part Number, HD-475 BLK/GRY.
